September 2011 welcomes the second Norwich Wine Festival, with wine lovers from across Norfolk coming to Norwich to enjoy fine wines in great venues.
Coinciding with the Norfolk Food Festival, the Wine Festival will involve bars across Norwich and even a few outside the city centre. Please see the Festival Venues page to find out more about the venues that are taking part.
The Wine Festival will begin on 1st September – and since we thought it would be a bit out of order to end it mid-week, it will run until Sunday 2nd October.
There will be events running throughout the month, please click here to find out more about them.
When you buy a festival programme, you will have access to a range of great offers at the participating venues. These include discounted wine and discounted meals including wine, and vary for each venue. To find out about the offers available at each venue, click here!
In addition to this, you will have access to discounted wine from local wine merchants including the Perfect Wine and Virgin Wines.
Throughout the festival month, there are a range of exciting wine related events – including tastings, live music and wine and cheese evenings. Find out more about what’s going on from our ‘events’ page.
Norwich Wine Festival is for everyone* – whether you are a seasoned connoisseur, or just want to find out more about wine and discover an alternative to the standard Pinot Grigio you usually drink.
The festival is all about getting wine lovers out and about, enjoying wine and hopefully discovering new bars and restaurants in the City which have particularly interesting wine lists.
*everyone over the age of 18, that is :)
